Does anyone happen to know any 3-digit codes for the Sony WebTV Plus that will work in so far as being able to program it for use with my Philips PMDVR8 remote?

Try the codes for Dish network receivers. Their Dishplayer uses the same keyboard as the Sony webtv, philips webtv, rca webtv, rca utv, and sony utv. The Dish network code in the UEI remotes, controls both my rca utv's set to both A & B remote codes at the same time. In fact before it was fixed, my rca utv responded to the sony sat code.

Thanks a LOT, Edmund. It worked like a charm! I just checked the codes given for the Dish Network receivers & found one that worked (466) for WebTV. I was then able to program my Philips remote for all the essential functions of my WebTV unit. All I can say is that for $30, this remote rocks!
