I have the very old JVC RM-S1 unit with my JVC HT Pre-Amp. My existing unit does not work very well and doesn't support new codes of AV equipment. Do any of the newer remotes support the 900 MHz JVC RM-S1?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I owned a RM-S1, and an identical oem version that came with my top of the JVC receiver at the time. I had no problem teaching the commands to other learning remotes at the time. Have you tried recent remotes that have a preprogrammed code for JVC receivers? It's been more than 10 years since I owned a JVC.
