I want to operate 8 devices and I have satellite, my wife needs the easiest to use remote for under $200.00
that their is and prefers a touchscreen, I on the other hand nedd one that is easy to program. I am currently between the mx1000 and the philips tsu2000, any thoughts out there?

If you need "easy to program" stay well away from the Philips Pronto. While it's easily the most versitile touchscreen on the market, it requires some serious effort to program.

Why are you convinced you need a touchscreen? Is it just so you can re-label buttons? If that's the case, I would suggest the MX500. It's mostly a buttoned remote, but there's a small LCD panel which lets you label the buttons yourself.

Pronto is the best choice. The MX1000 had some bugs that could not be fixed and HTM abandoned it
...
