I currently have the RCU810 and love it with one exception--limited memory for learning buttons. Does the RCU900 have more memory. Anyone compared it to the RCU810? I would like to try it out, but I am afraid it will be inferior to the RCU810.
Thanks, Dan

You should stick with the RCU810 if you like this remote. If you want to expand it's memory capacity, get yourself a JP1 cable. This remote is "OK" without JP1 and "GREAT" with it. Rob http://www.hifi-remote.com

Thanks for the reply. I have the JP1 cable for it, but really never learned how to use it very effectively. Where would the best place be for an indepth guide on IR.exe and keymaster?
Thanks, Dan

Thanks Rob, I will have to go back and try to learn the programs a bit more in depth this time.
Thanks again, Dan

I am glad I went back to the JP1 group. They had the Outlaw 950 and Bravo D1 DVD player files! I was able to put both codes into the RCU810 and everything is great. I am glad you can just open a file and learn everything without having to cut and paste everything into KM.
Thanks again, Dan

Now you know what the funny thing is, I see loads of messages here all the time from people afraid to try JP1 because they think it will be difficult! :)
Congrats on getting your remote programmed and welcome to the club.
