Is the Skymaster the device you want to control, or is it the remote you are trying to program? If it's the device, don't you think it might be a good idea to mention what remote you are trying to program? Every brand of universal uses a different set of codes.

If I have all the pieces figured out right:

Dave is apparantly from either denmark or germany.

Looking at the LIRC file he linked, Skymaster appears to be a satellite receiver, from the functions. The file is for a XL-15s and he's hoping it will work his XL-17s.

Psiloc markets a program (IR remote)in which you can turn some cell-phones into remotes. Dave's proposed "remote" is the nokia 3650. Apparantly you can upload to the phone via IR, bluetooth, or email. It also has a limited database where you can select make, device type, etc. His skymaster isn't supported so he's turned to the pronto ccf or LIRC option.

Dave,

I checked the pronto files here and no luck finding any skymaster receivers listed :(

Have you tried contacting psiloc and seing if they can help?

The only other alternative I can think of is for you to have a friend who owns a Pronto SAVE his remote's configuration; then learn the signals from your skymaster remote(s), create a .ccf file for the receiver, which you can email or otherwise enter into your nokia.

I couldn't tell whether the LIRC file was defective, or user error, or failure by the irremote program to cause that LIRC file to fail. Since it was posted, I must assume that it's a working file, at least with whoever made the file's remote/pda/phone/whatever

For starters, I'd contact psiloc for help.

Jim
