I am searching for a universal remote that will run my Mitsubishi VS5043 Big Screen TV. Most important is the Menu codes and Input Button. I have no clue on universals, but don't want to pay $69.00 for replacement remote from Mitsu. Can anyone recommend a universal brand?

I would recommend a One For All or Radio Shack universal. If for some reason the MENU and INPUT buttons are not programmed properly as part of the default button layout, you can program them yourself using advanced codes. I would recommend the 15-2116, which sells for $30 at RS. Rob http://www.hifi-remote.com
