Hi, I am in the market for a resonable priced IR/RF remote. I basically want to control my home theater (Yamaha based) system from outside. I need to be able to program macros into the remote to turn on/switch to different settings easily. The unit should have a rf base station of some sort to translate rf to ir.
Thanks in advance, RZ

I think One far all makes an RF remote, but not sure. You can also try the clicker picker under features on this site. Might have some RF remotes on there

ueic makes 2 RF/IR remotes. The OFA URC-9910 is the IR/RF version of the straight IR 8910. The remote packages with the "command center". The other is the Radio Shack 15-2117 which is the IR/RF version of the straight IR 15-2116 and also packages with the "command center". Both are learning remotes, and have lcd screens. Both are also JP-1 ready. I think you can find either for around 70.00, if that fits into your definition of "reasonable". Either should do what you want.
