My computer is hooked up to speakers to play music. I would like to find a remote control with an LCD display to play the songs stored on the computer. I have found computer remote controls but they have no display so unless you are displaying the computer on a TV or sitting close to the computer you can't see it.
I want a remote where I can see the names of songs/tracks/albums i.e. like using windows explorer and control the music. thanks.
Any ideas? thanks.

As an LCD remote, you can use the Pronto. Then you will need SW and HW for your PC to be able to work with it. Try http://www.girder.nl/ I know a lot of people use Pronto and girder for their HTPCs but this is not my area
