i just got this little old (1993) 13 inch SHARP Linytron from my girlfriend, just so i can have an extra tv for gaming, but anyway she doesn't have the remote and there are no channel change buttons on the tv itself, and its on channel 2, which is quite useless since i need channel 3. I have an RCA system link3 universal remote but it wont tune into the right code for it.. what should i do? is there better universal remotes out there that will have the right codes? please help.

Get a One For All or Radio Shack universal remote and use the TV/0165 code. It's an older code that seems to have been dropped from the more recent OFA remotes, but it's still in all the current Radio Shack remotes, including the 15-2103, 15-2104, 15-2116 and 15-2133. Rob http://www.hifi-remote.com
