I need advice on a learning universal remote that will do RF and IR. Trying to control the following equipment. (some of it's RF)

Sony 500 (IR)
Kenwood 309 receiver (IR)
Toshiba T.V (IR)
Sony CD player (IR)
Satellite Dish (RF) <---problem

Requirements:
1) learn and control IR and RF devices
2) program up-to 10 macros
3) capability to label macros
4) backlite keyboard

Hmm, sorry - I'm not aware of any remotes (priced within reason) that meet your requirement #1.

There have been some Sony DSS receiver models that can be controlled via either IR or RF. I am not sure what satellite equipment you have though, as you didn't mention it, and I'm guessing that you mean to control the dish itself, as in the positioning of the dish. In this case, probably your only affordable option is to use the dish's original remote.

Although, it will only learn IR.
