Hello, all:
I am a newbie to this forum, but I have a question that perhaps some of you can answer:
I am looking for a small, learning remote to use on a second system that I have - stress small, and cheap!
On EBay, I have been seeing a Philips remote, PM8TSMD, many times. This looks like it might be a good choice for me. However, I can't seem to find any info about this remote at all. Philips' website doesn't have any information on any other device than their Pronto line. I can't seem to find anyone online selling it. My local Best Buy doesn't have this model.
I can't find out anything about it, other than there are tons of them being sold on EBay. Is this a discontinued model? What can it do? How configurable is it? How easy to program is it? How do you set up the touchscreen display? Can it be connected to a computer, like the Pronto line, to be programmed with codes and buttons?
