If you have a Bose system that uses an RF remote, like the Lifestyle, could you look on the remote and see if there's an FCC number, if there is could you post it please.

Thanks,
Rob.

I have a Bose LifeStyle with RF remote. If I remember, I shall get you the details and email. Question: Why do you want this?

Another Question: Can you advise of an "affordable" remote that will support by Bose (RF) along with other devices which are all IR? Preferbly one that has a learner mode. Your advice appreciated.

If I have the FCC id, I can look up some data on this on the FCC web site.

Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a universal remote that sends regular IR along with Bose RF.

Caveat to Rob's post above: "at this time." Rumor has it that Bose themselves will soon be producing Lifestyle RF remotes that also have "universal" IR learning ability.

So you might be able to buy this capability from Bose soon, but no other company currently produces such a remote.

There is also a company that for about $90 US offers a conversion device to translate IR signals from a universal remote into Bose RF signals. See this thread for more details. I have not personally bought from them.

BUMP! How come there were tons of posts from people looking for help with the Bose, but none of them have posted the FCC number yet?
