OK guys & girls,
Here's the deal. I have a Kenwood CD Player model 203 (5 disc CD-changer). I'm using my new Radio Shack remote control 15-2104, and I need to be able to control my Kenwood CD player. Here's the thing...the CD player did not come with a remote, and you have to turn the power on and off manually. My question is how can you program the remote to it if you can't turn it on/off with a remote in the first place. Does that make sense??? The remote that came with my Kenwood receiver works with the CD player, but I have to turn it on manually. So how can I get the Radio Shack remote to control the CD player??? I use the codes that came with the remote, but I can't use the power button to see if it works b/c you have to turn the power on manually. Can anybody help me???

Read the instructions in the manual more carefully, it covers just such a condition by suggesting that you have a disc in the player and try pressing PLAY instead of POWER when you are searching for a code.
