I just picked up the RCU810 yesterday, and I cannot get it to work with my Philips Satellite reciever(I don't have the model number here, but it is the one with Tivo if there is only one). Anyway is there a way to make it work, I tried the codes in the book, and the light on the front of the satallite flashes but nothing happens? Or is there a place to look at all the models that the remote will work with somewhere? The last question is will I be better of exchanging the remote for the Sony AV2100? I am trying to control 8 things anyway if I get one more I would need a new one anyway.

Thanks for any help.

IMHO, the RCU810 is a better remote than the AV2100.

I'm not familiar with Philips SAT dishes, but if it has TiVo built in, did you try the TiVo code (which is VCR/0635 in the RCU810).

Failing that, did you try simply learning from the SAT remote? You can learn about 24 buttons before the memory runs out.

I'm just wondering if the RCU810 can learn from any IR remote control even if the brand of the equipment is not listed in the manual?
