I have had this RC for about 2 years now and lost the function for buttons 4,5,6,9 and volume down. It is not a learning fault, the button just stopped working from one day to the next. In every mode not just TV even Amp, AUX etc. When I take the batteries out and leave it off for a while then put in new batteries and press the other buttons I get the Error message on top of the display on every button i.e. it has no code learned but on these (above named) I don't even get the Error up. They are just dead. I think the display is broken inside for these buttons. No visible damage on display. Light works fine also and the other buttons can be learned normal and work fine. But these few buttons not working is driving me mad.
Any ideas or advice on this?

I can't tell from your description what has gone wrong, but if you think you may have simply worn the buttons out, then it can be fixed.

Go to your local auto parts store and see if they have something for fixing rear window defoggers. It should be a kind of paint that you can use to paint over the cracks in the defogger. Then open up your remote and paint this stuff on the base of the buttons (ie, the bit that makes contact with the circuit board), then let it dry for a few hours and "hey presto" the remote is fixed.
