Other than color, can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the US and European models of the Philips Pronto? If I purchase the European model will I experience any problems with software download from the Philips website at www.pronto.philips.com?

Hi Kathy,
The only thing i know, the US-Cff-files dont work on teh European-Model. Just try the to upload the software in your Pronto.If it doesnt work. Upload your US-Version.

1) There is a Pronto forum, you will probably get better faster answers there.
2) The answert to your question is no / yes
a) The 1meg Pronto (TS1000 for US) the colour is the only difference.
b) The TSU2000 is now for sale it has 2M of memory the old Pronto had 1M, the European version (not for sale yet) will not have the IR database that the TSU2000 has (it makes sens since the manufacturers are not the same and some that exist on both sides use different ones for Europe and US
