I have a shuttle control type remote for my Mitsubishi VCR. I havn't figured out how to get the forward & back signals into my new SL-9000. I need to have these for programming the recording setup. Thanks!

What type of shuttle? 360-degree rotating, or the type that you "hold" in a certain spot for a certain speed? If the latter, you'd need to use separate buttons for each forward and backwards "speed".

It the type where there is an outer ring, with positions (forward & back), as well as an inner circle that is continuous and is used to move the cursor in the menuing system.
