Help!
I am looking for a universal remote control (for tv, cable, and vcr) that also has a location device so that when you can't find it, all you have to do is clap your hands and it beeps, or touch a button on a docking station and it beeps, or such.
If they aren't being made anymore, does anyone know where you can find something like that that you could just stick on to a remote control? My husband is always misplacing the remote!
Thanks!

Tape it to your cell phone with duct tape (Red Green fans recognize this as "the handyman's secret weapon"), then call your cell number with your landline.
Seriously, I don't know of a remote with that capability.

There used to be a product in Australia which attached to your key-ring. You whistled, and it beeped. The idea being you could find your lost keys. Can't remember the name though. You might try http://www.buy.com.au or some other Australian web site. Worked with batteries.

Get one of those retractable key chains that janitors always have on their belts. Epoxy one end to your remote. Bolt the other end to the coffee table.
It might be ugly, but you'll always know where the remote is unless someone steals the coffee table.

You can find one in just about any WalMart. They're bundled with the One4Alls, and sold separately. A locator velcros to your TV, or wherever.
