I have a samsung tv circa 1988 and haev lost the remote. I am wondering if there is a universal remote out there that can help me. Any ideas?

Hmm, it mainly depends on how often Samsung has changed their code structure. You might want to try out the very inexpensive One For All Cinema 7, available at places such as Wal Mart.
