I just picked up a Denon DVD-1800BD bluray player and it didn't come with a remote. I have a spare Marantz programmable remote - RC5001SR which has some codes for Denon DVD players. None of them work, so I tried using the manual step through process and couldn't find one that would turn it on or off.
The Marantz RC only has 4 digit codes available. Could it be that it needs 5 digits for the DVD player, or do some have a limited range of codes, or might there be other 4 digit codes that apply for Denon?
