My RC9800i is able to learn and use 99.9% of the codes for the Uverse VIP1225 with the exception of ONE code...the power code.
If it were any other function I could live with it, but the power button is criticle because I still have to keep the Motorola remote around just to turn the Uverse box on. Once the box is on, all other functions work fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions, work arounds, or codes for this box?

I used the "OK" button as a workaround for "discrete power on" and a macro of the "OK" button followed by the "power" button as a workaround for "discrete power off".
Here is the IR code for the "OK" button: 0000 0073 0000 0012 000F 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 001D 0006 0010 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 0006 0016 0006 0010 0006 0016 0006 0010 0006 0010 0006 001D 0006 000A 0006 0C5B
And for the "Power" button: 0000 0073 0000 0012 000F 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 001C 0006 0010 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 0016 0006 0010 0006 0016 0006 000A 0006 000A 0006 001C 0006 000A 0006 0C5B
Good luck!
