Hi, I have a TSU 3000 that was setup by previous owner of the house. He had Dish and I have Comcast. I can get the TSU3000 to learn the codes for my TV's but can't figure out how to get it to learn the codes for the new Comcast Digital Box, an Motorola DCT2000.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!!!!

Try using codes from any Motorola Cable box from files section. Those should work. Then, if you are missing any functions, post back and I'm sure someone will pop them to you.

When you say you can't figure out how to get it to learn, do you mean that you can go through all the same steps as learning the TV codes, but what is apparently learned does not work;
or do you mean that for some reason the remote won't let you use the same steps with the cable box that you used with the TV?

Lyndel,
if some of the codes in the remote are learned, and some are from the database in the remote, will there be any difference in trying to learn new commands over the old ones?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ernie,

I think a learn is an learn. If a DB code existed before and you are learning on the remote (not connected to a PC), the DB code reference would be overwritten.

But this does bring up an interesting question. Are you learning codes on the remote and then uploading them to the PC or are you trying to learn using the software while the remote is connected to the computer.
