Hello, I'm new to remote control programming. I'm trying to access all of the features of my sony vph-d50 since I don't have the original remote. I believe I entered the correct information and programming on my new tsu3000. I used the codes from the remote central files for the RM-PJ1000. I programmed the on and off buttons just to get started and am unable to turn the projector on or off. I could use some help. Did I program the remote wrong? Are the codes not compatible with my projector? I thought this remote would be able to control my projector, is this correct? Any suggestions? I also saw a thread for a download for a tsu1000 would this be compatible? I downloaded the informations and was unable to install it on the remote. Thanks.

The file you reference from this site works for my D50. The tsu1000 file will work with your 3000 if you import the ccf into pronto edit. The bigger issue for you is if your ir eyes are working on your D50. There are two. One in front and one in rear. Turn the unit on and look into the green lens and follow the menu through to circs receiver and make sure they are set to both on. I am guessing you have all ready been to Curts site and the A site and have done all the required prerequisite reading for setting up a D50. They are not exactly easy to get set up for a new crt owner dut the end result is well worth it. I have two d50's and a g70 and my various prontos have all been used to turn them off and on with out a hitch. To be perfectly honest though I would avoid trying to use one as the sole source of setting up a pj...that would drive me nuts. I have an extra original remote that you can ask me for more info if you want. I love my pronto for theoff on and pic mute features but I would be hard pressed to use it for an actual setup remote....my 2 cents
