It was fun while it lasted but this screen issue is just crazy. I have done all the tricks except replacing the screen. Too bad, I really love this remote. I'd move to the 7000/7500 series but can't afford that much money on a remote. I enjoyed the hours and hours of programming. That was the best part.
In the interim, I picked up a Harmony 800 for < $100. It is activity based which is how I programmed the Pronto. Not nearly as flexible or cool, but it works. I know there is a problem with the chargers on these remotes but Logitech has replaced many out of warranty, includes my brothers. That's customer service.
