My Pronto NG (TSU 7000) appeared to learn the codes from the Polaroid remote with no problem but the learnt codes do not work. I tried increasing the duration but still no success. (TSU 7000 connected to PC) Below is a list of the learnt codes:

900A 0068 0000 0001 009F 1EE1 = POWER

(The first 5 hex codes are all the same for other commands)

5DA2 = EJECT
4DB2 = DV SELECT
1FE0 = HDD SELECT
0FF0 = DVD SELECT
0EF1 = MONITOR
49B6 = 1
0BF4 = 2
0AF5 = 3
41BE = 4
03FC = 5
02FD = 6
45BA = 7
07F8 = 8
O6F9 = 9
1BE4 = 0

Look at the answers I wrote for someone who had the same problem with a different device: See posts 4 and 6 of this thread:

I don't think we confirmed any answer for that other thread. But I still have confidence in the answers I gave there.

Additional information: I scanned my library of downloaded IR data and the signals you just described exactly match a JP1 file I have for a Coby DVD-R1100, except that JP1 file uses the nominal NEC1 frequency of 38Khz, rather than the less common 40Khz that your Pronto thinks it learned.

That makes it more likely that your Pronto learned the frequency wrong and those codes would be more correct with a 006D where they now have 0068. But I still don't think the DVD player actually cares whether the signal is 38Khz or 40Khz. I still think it is more likely you have IR disabled for that device.

Thanks for your reply. I checked and confirmed IR was enabled. Then I tried changing 0068 to 006D per your suggestion and tested the POWER and EJECT commands. They worked perfectly. I will proceed to make the same changes to the other learned codes.

Thank you very much for the help. Kudos for your knowledge on this subject!!
