I'm sorry if I was supposed to look somewhere else first as I did try doing a search and came up empty handed. I have a TSU7000 and began trying to program the power button on a Sony VPL-HS60 Projector. I learned the code into the remote, and it works so to speak, but it was luck of the draw. Not even right up against the projector would it work, but when I stood back a little bit it worked. Trying to get it turned back off took about 30 presses before it finally took. The OEM remote will get the signal to the projector with it facing the opposite direction across the room. My learned code wouldn't work worth squat.

I tried downloading a few configurations of the VPL-HS51 and cut and pasted but those wouldn't work either. I am so frustrated right now (I am new to this by the way). Am I doing something wrong? Could the OEM remote be an RF? I wouldn't think so. My projector is mounted from the ceiling in a self made sheetrock case but that shouldn't matter as the eye of the signal is on the front of the projector.

Any help in getting this to work would be appreciated. Thank you.
