My installer has set up the Pronto without giving me access to the Pronto icon and hence the Tools menu. Would a reset overcome the problem? What might be the consequences?

Attach the remote to the computer, upload the program file from the remote to the PC. Edit the program file. Add the icon to the main page and download the file to the remote, and you are done.

A reset will not put the icon back. No consequences of doing a reset (pressing the reset button in the back of the remote), only the time set will return to 12:00.
