Has anyone been able to implement a sleep timer with the 7500? I'm interested in making a single button press delay an all-off macro for 1 hour without leaving the display lit.

With all the timer functions, seems like I could make it happen.

Just create a timer event but you will have to do for a fixed hour/minute, not for the the next hour.

Or you can make a macro on the hard buttons w/ a lot of delays, a macro in the hard buttons will not lit the screen.

Basically, there is no way to effectively create a sleep timer *and* have the remote usable during this time.

Only way whould be a fixed time everyday (discrete codes needed or it will turn some devices on), say like 2:00am and the remote will stay full functional.

Thanks for the input. We'll go with the hard key approach.

**Update** The macro to the hard key left the screen lit during execution. We'll have to go with the fixed daily time.
