My RU950 is locked/dead.
No beep when resetting or changing batteries, no screen or hard buttons activation.
The PC recognises the unit as a usb device but cannot download the configuration file (communication error).
Trying to update the firmware, I am asked to reset, but reset has no effect so the process is cancelled!!!
Any thoughts?

Hi
I have exactly the same problem and am looking for an answer. M problem started when the screen started to become un reponsive on an intermittant basis. Found a posting that said you should downgrade firmware and upgrade again. Down grade caused total failure. All very irritating.
Any help, even if it is the name of a UK company that can repair the deice would be welcome.
