I have managed to learn the remotes ir codes after several hassles. I would like to know if you can make discrete on off as it is an older satellite set top box, I have seen posts about homecast making the same box and force, but haven't proved that yet.
The codes I have so far are:
On/Off 900A 0068 0000 0001 12ED 0FF0
1 900A 006D 0000 0001 12ED 00FF
2 900A 006D 0000 0001 12ED 01FE
Exit 900A 006D 0000 0001 12ED 0EF1
etc, I can post more if needed.
Can anyone help with device number protocol etc so I can try makehex or similar

For MakeHex, use nec1.irp with Device=18
Function 15 in the MakeHex output should be the On/Off toggle (so you can test one button to verify that you used MakeHex correctly).
I have no guess which functions might by discrete On and Off if they exist at all.

Thanks, I spoke to Qualifi who marketed the Force range of boxes, they said that it was their implementation of the discrete on off that only exist on Force branded boxes, not homecast or eM Tech models (they are all clones) Will give it a try though.
