Hi,

Pronto 3500 with rf/ir repeater. all gear except plasma is in a far room, so RF to repeater/converter. most gear is hdmi, but the new macTV (don't get me started) is component so plasma must switch inputs.

previously all worked, then had to redo some of the config b/c of receiver swap-out.

i re-use daniel's 3000/3500 config (donation given) so it's a basic "devices" button macro:

1) change plasma input selection << hdmi-to-component/viceversa
2) change receiver input selection
3) jump to [device chosen] screen

so, it worked like that with original receiver. now with new receiver it won't change teh plasma's input (a pioneer 5070), no matter what order #1 above is put in (ie: last, not first) no matter any pauses inserted between steps. i even tried first and last with 2 seconds before it as last command. and nothing. now, i switch to the 'plasma deivce' page, and hit input 'hdmi' or input 'component' it works - LOL and it's the same backend code! (all of these buttons are just 'links' to the learned codes on a non-shown screen, like Daniel) i verified line of sight, and the plasma device code works from any spot in the room, but from nowhere does it work when part of a macro.

here's the weird part. if i break up the macro, to be just:

1) change receiver input selection
2) jump to new temporary page

3) on this new temp page: change plasma input selection (one command only *linked to exact same command as above*)

4) press 2nd button that jumps to device screen

that way, it works. ie: same damn codes, but not with macro.

the only 'difference' between the plasma and all the other gear is that the plasma being in the viewing room is IR, all other RF (but this setup worked on the first go-'round and all gear was in same locations)

so i'm stumped, ideas?

You need to adjust the duration.
