I wonder how it's possible that my Pronto 950 (european version) is able to control my Cable TV Device (Samsung) via RF (channel 0, ID 0) and is not able to control my DVD Player (Sony) via RF. I've programmed the code numbers via the learning function and tried several "channel / ID" combinations. What can be the cause? Am I doing something wrong? I'm working with a Pronto 950 and a Marmitek Powermid Dual Power. I hope someones got the answer for me :)

Is the Marmitek also the European version?
US and European versions use differrent RF frequencies.

I guess the question above is irrelevant as it works for your cable TV box so it must be receiving RF from the pronto.

Silly question. Does the Device you have for the sony work when set to IR?
Also is the device definitely set to RF (remeber if your codes are on a seperate page its the device with the actual codes that needs setting to RF not the device with the visible buttons on it, this caught me out a few times when trying to get my powermid to work)
I'd probably try a test config of just a single page with the sony codes learned direct to the buttons you press. check it works and then set to RF and check it works thru' the powermid.

I use the older power mid (the pyramid one) and my transmitter has a light that flashes when it receives a signal. does yours? and does it flash when you try the sony commands?
