I have searched the forums but cant find an answer, can antone help?

I can test IR codes when me ru950 is conected to my pc but when i use the simulator no IR codes are transmitted. Is this by design or a fault that can be rectified?

Any help as always, much appreciated

According to the help file you should be able to test the IR codes using the simulator IF your remote is cabled to the PC. Is it?

Thanks for the reply,
As i stated the pronto is connected to the pc and i can test individual IR codes.
What i cant do is use the simulator to test my configuration, ie press a hard button on the simulator i have assigned the mute code and that then mute the amp?

The help file is wrong. The simulator never had this capability. The Classic Pronto Remotes worked this way but neither the 3X00 nor the 7X00 simulators can utilize PC-connected remote to test a config.

So a TSU 3000 (Falls between the TSU2000/6000 you specify would work?

i have the TSU3000 (UK RU950).

EDIT: I take it NG means New Generation?, Guess the RU950 isnt a classic. Shame they screwed up a good feature.

Correct! The TSU3000 is an NG remote and not a "Classic Pronto".

Look at the forum categories here for a list of the remotes that fall into each.
