It's been awhile. Anyways, I purchased a refurb TSU7000 (I have one for another room, and have had it for a while), and wanted to start by downloading my current pcf into the new one.

All of a sudden, from two different computers, the USB device doesn't connect with either TSU7000, and there's seemingly no way to download the drivers. I was given a prontopro ng software disc with the refurb purchase, but I keep getting a message calling for another disc, pronto 2.0, to complete the driver loading procedure. Don't know why this is even a problem, as I had no such problem with the original TSU7000, and I've never encountered a like problem either downloading the program or loading it from the supplied cd-rom.

Help?

Thanks,

Nick Satullo

Nick,

Search for +Potential +USB +Issues for the last 1 year. Particularly, follow the links in the thread to reinstall the USB driver for the 7000. The drivers you should be installing are in the folder where the software is installed.

Don't be use the CD you receive with the remote. More than likely, it's not the latest version. You should get the latest NG software and firmware from the Files Section. Some folks have had issues with firmware version 3.8.14 and if you should, you can back off to version 3.8.11 and you should be OK.
