Ok I've finally got my ccf working for my tsu7500(thank you daniel for his 7000 pcf and John Fine for his help on IR codes for the 4DTV). I now have noticed that there is a HUGE difference between the IR signal from my Marantz RC5200 and the Pronto TSU7500.
I can point the 5200 anywhere in the room and it works on the tv on one side of the room and all the other stuff in a cabinet on the other side. But if I don't point the tsu7500 directly at the electronics it doesn't pick up the signal. I mean if I am off by 5 degrees (like 3 feet off the equipment pickup) it sometimes doesn't work at all. Is this normal? On the 5200 I could leave it sit on the arm of my chair and hit the button. I have to phyically pick up the 7500 and aim it at the device. It's a good thing all my stuff is within a 3 ft rectangle.

Maybe you have a bad IR emitter in the unit. However, I can report that the 7000 emitters did not appear to be as strong as the RC9200 I once owned.
