I want to set up the 4-way direc. pad (on a 7500) to act like the d-pad on a Directv remote....the h10/h20 to be exact.
I have set the System properties, the device properties, etc to all have the hard buttons use the learned IR code from the H10 remote. I know the IR code works b/c I have another page with pic buttons that link to the same IR code and they work fine.

For some reason the hard buttons keep doing a page down or page sideways with a press instead of using the link I have set up to the IR code for down arrow.

Any tips.
Alos had the remote lock up once, just removed the battery and rebooted.

Any way to reboot without removing the battery?

Thanks all

Go into set up and turn off cursor navigation.

Pushing the reset button is the same as disconnecting the battery.

I just updated the firmware and prontopro edit software....seemed to have helped...I'll keep an eye out.

Thanks.
