Hi everyone,
I've read (almost) every thread about this. I've tried every proposed solution. I couldn't make it work!
I am working on a NEC HT410 projector. I need to keep the power on button pressed for about 0.5 seconds to turn it on, either on the original remote or on the pronto. The problem is it never works in a macro.
I've tried setting the duration for 0.5s, 1s, 2s, 4s with no results. I've tried to extract the HEX CODE (with MAKEHEX, thanks to Johnsfine) and repeat the last 2 pairs but pronto always reconizes it. I've tried to fool the ppeng changing some bits but it still reconizes it.
Any ideas?

Code is:
900A 006D 0000 0001 18E9 08F7

or in the HEX mode:
0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

Thanks to all for your pacience.
Regards,
Bruno.

Set the Duration. If you are using the latest software, on the IR Edit dialog, there's a Duration setting. Choosing something other than 'Default', you should be able to extend the amount of time this code is sent. Have you tried that?

If that does not work, try using this code instead and I guarantee that it won't be shortened to the 900A form. You will most likely still need to use the 'Duration' feature.

0000 006D 0022 0004 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

Yes I've tried the duration. Maybe it's the firmware (version 3.1.5). I will get the latest firmware and software and try it all again.
Your HEX came up as Invalid IR Code. I`ve tried taking the last 0689 out and ppeng changed it to:

0000 006D 0022 0004 0155 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0680 0155 0056 0015 0EAB 0155 0056 0015 0EAB

I can't try now. I'll give you news later.
Thanks,
Bruno.

Ooops, I copied 1 too many numbers. Your fix to remove the 0689 was correct.
