a while back i posted a question about problems learning a code from a harman kardon avr320. the learned code was cleaned up and seemed to work initially. i didnt test it that much and put the project away for awhile. now im back at it and the code doesnt seem to work all that well, it often takes a few shots to get it to work. here is the code, vid2 button
0000 006D 0022 0002 0157 00AC 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0041 0015 0041 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0689 0157 0056 0015 0E94

in comparison, the code i found in the pronto database, for the dvd button always works on the first try, and has better range, (tuner>harman/kardon>codeset 1031>dvd). as a test i learned the code for the dvd button, didnt clean it up, but it worked intermittently like the code for vid2.

another point of interest, if i save the pcf file than look at the ir again it shows:
900A 006D 0000 0001 8070 CB34

if i can find the protocol and device from the database dvd code would i just need to change the function? if that is true how can i find that out?

help is greatly appreciated and ill be happy to pay in beer (if you live in philly) or coffee if there is a store to pickup a peets ecup

trouble aside:
my friend just got the harmony 880 and told me it took him 15 minutes to setup, ive had this thing for well over a year and it can barely change the channel on the tv. ha.
