Has anyone figure out a good way to do a sleep timer? I have several components that don't have them built in and it would be nice to simply have a (minute) countdown timer to trigger a macro or whatever.

I can make a delay button and stack 32 second delays (around 170 for 90min.) and then hit the "system off" macro and it will work but the remote is tied up that whole time. I would like to continue to use the remote during the next 30-60 min that I am still awake before nodding off. Does that make sense?

Thanks.

That's because you can't do it. The Timer support in Prontos only allows you set a timer to trigger at a specific time of day.

The best you can do is to set up a number of timers for different times of the evening and enable just the one you want that night.

Is there any control of timers from within the software?

Thanks

No. However, should you define timers on the remote and then upload them to your computer and save the PCF, the timers you uploaded will be preserved on the next download.
