hello im a new owner of a rc5400 remote( previoulsya rc2000mk2) and im trying to learn how to program all my remotes but it would seem im not having any luck ...granted my devices are a bit older .. and was wondering if i could pull the old codes from the older remote to the new remote cause it would seem everytime i try to copy a remote it fails or am i doing something wrong anyone with any insite on this would be very helpfull

The rc2000mk2, I believe is the equivalent of the Philips Pronto Neo, is it not? If the answer is yes, there is no way to import the Neo file into the NG remotes.

The RC2000MKII was not a PC programmable remote. It was a physically larger predacessor to the RC1400. You would best be served by trying the files area as manufacturers don't (generally) change IR codes from generation to generation.

Hey

You say that every time you try to copy a remote it fails.
Have you tried just learnign all the remotes into the RC5400 from scratch? I had no issues at all when learning all my remotes into my RC5400
