Although I have successfully uploaded and downloaded files to my TSU7000 since installing ProntoEdit 2.1, I am unable to do so now. After my computer establishes communication with the 7000, I receive error message: "an error occured while converting this configuration file for use by this device."

I started receiving this error after adding to my ccf and learning new remotes. Do I have a corrupted file? Will I have to recreate everything from my last good file?

First try merging your PCF into an brand-new PCF.

Crud! Still giving me the same error message after repeated attempts. Any other ideas?

Can you download other PCFs successfully? If so, you have a corrupted PCF. The normal solution is doing what Jochen said.

I have found that I can upload my the ccf file from my TSU700 into ProntoEdit, make some changes, and successfully download it back.

If I take this good older file and merge one simple panel without IR Codes from my new file, I get the error message. It appears that my updated ccf file is corrupted.

Anyone else have some ideas so that I don't have to redue it? I hate to have wasted all those hours.
