I have a tsu7000 and haven't done any programming for almost a year. I finally got around to fixing a couple of small issues, only to run into some problems.
First, I was able to update the firmware without any issues.
Second, I can't upload my current configuration to the editor. I want to back it up before I change it, of course. I just get an error with the editor, saying the upload process has failed.
My editor is v 1, so I thought I'd try upgrading it. That won't work because the installer says I have to uninstall the current version before I can upgrade. Problem is, the program doesn't appear on Window's list of installed programs. I seem to be foiled at every turn!
Any suggestions on what the problem could be with uploading? My batteries are charged.
Also, how can I manually uninstall the old version of the editor?
Thanks!
John

Follow the instructions here, except look for keys that say ProntoPro Edit NG or something similar. [Link: remotecentral.com]
