I am working on a new 7500 and I keep getting a "Device not connected properly. Check connection (0010). However the device is connected properly. I've already rebooted my computer 3 times, re-installed prontopro, but nothing works. Any Ideas. (My guess is yet another defective pronto remote).

Search for +USB +Driver +Issues for the last 6 months and you'll find a thread entitled Potential USB Driver Issues by me. When you are installing and uninstalling, make sure the remote is NOT connected to the computer.

Got it figured out. Apparently with the 7500 you have to install the new usb drivers. However if I program a 7000 or a 3000 after that, it will kick those new usb driver out so I'll have to reinstall them for my next 7500.
