I lost the remote to my RCA tv Model#F2607ES. I have found the discrete codes and I can't seem to copy/paste them without the codes changing (some do some don't). Any ideas anyone? Thanks for listening.

The codes are supposed to change. They are being cleaned up by the editor.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening? These are the only codes I found for this tv. Thanks for responding so quick.

After they appear to change do they fail to control the TV? Does the TV react at all?

If it worries you post a code before and after it is changed. Also post a code that does not change.

Someone may be able to tell you exactly why it being changed.

As far as I can tell the codes that change do not control the tv. This is the code before 0000 0047 002F 0000 0001 0001 00E5 00E5 001C 0075 001C 0074 001C 0075 3AEB 000E 0015 0074 0001 2492 0015 0037 0001 2514 0015 0037 0001 2514 0015 0037 0001 2596 0014 0075 0001 2618 0012 0074 0001 269A 0010 0037 0001 271C 0010 0075 0001 279E 000E 0074 0001 2820 000C 0037 0001 28A2 000E 0037 0001 28A2 000D 0037 0001 2924 000C 0037 0001 29A6 3AEB 000E 0007 0075 0001 2A28 0001 2A28 0007 0074 0001 2AAA 0001 2AAA 003F 0075 0001 2B2C 0001 2B2C 0001 0037 0001 2BAE 0001 2BAE 0037 0037 0001 0001

That looks to me like garbage both berfore it changed and after.

Where did you get those codes?

Do you have before/after sample of one that worked?

These were the only discrete codes I could find for a RCA Model F26071ES on this website. Some codes work and some don't. I don't know if it is something I am doing wrong with copy and paste or what. I didn't know that the codes automatically change when you put them into Pronto Pro Edit. Thanks for looking into this.

I don't feel like searching RC to rediscover those discretes. If you want to post direct URLs for what you found, I'll take a look and see if I understand anything you missed from the place where you got that garbage code.

RCA usually uses very consistent IR signals, but I don't know about every single model. When you posted a signal that wasn't a typical RCA signal (the one that didn't work) I couldn't tell if it was a bad version of some unusual signal or a really bad version of a normal RCA signal.

Now that you posted an ordinary RCA signal that works, I can conclude your device uses ordinary RCA signals.

That also means you don't need to pay so much attention to the model number. Your device probably uses the same commands as many other RCA models.

No. It was garbage before you pasted it.

Thank you for the help. I will just try the generic codes until all features work. Thanks.
