I have not done much with my TSU3000 in months. I downloaded the newest software and tried to load it. It tried to load then advised me that I need to remove prior versions...I did. I then tried to reload the new version and I keep getting errors indicating that "error configuring ODBC data source PII_EDIT_GALLERY, ODBC error 6: Component not found in the registry, Verify that the file PII_EDIT_GALLERY exists and that you can access it.

It is also looking for the following others if I ignore
PII_EDIT_IMPORT
PIIDAT
RU950DAT
If I ignore it seems to load the software but will not actually work.

Please ADVISE

Thanks,
Darren

I just recently bought a TSU7000 off e-bay. The CD included as well as the version I downloaded off the web gives similer messages as what you experienced.
RU980DAT
TSU7000DAT
TSU7000_IMPORT
TSU7000_GALLERY

I was worried the problem was related to how I purchased the Pronto!

Although my TSU7000 seems to have problems docking. The blue lights, light up when put in the docking station, but I have to push down hard to get it to make the noise letting you know it is connected to the computer via the docking station.

Does anyone have a fix to these issues?

I don't know of this is the cause, but if using Windows 2000 or XP, you need to ensure that you have Admnistrator rights to your PC.

You aren't missing any files. This is an installation problem.

I am the administrator on this computer. I am running XP Prof. I have uninstalled...reloaded and continue to have the same problems. I have loaded the software on another computer running W2K and had NO problems. What is the problem or what am I missing that is causing the PII_ ..... errors?

There is obviously something different about your environment and I suspect it is related to ODBC.

Can you check something. Go to Control Panel and select Administrative Tools. In there, do you have "Data Sources (ODBC)"?

Do you have any Office programs installed on your PC?

I like what the cause is:

"This problem may occur when the following registry subkeys are missing:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ODBC
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC
These subkeys may have been removed if you removed a Corel program, including a program in the Corel WordPerfect Office family of products"

Daniel is a Corel fan. Has it happened to him?
