Hi.
I was reading the product details on some of the retailers on the web and it says that the TSU7000 comes with 802.11b connections. Is that right? If so .. what is the purpose? I know that it comes with USB for PC Connectivity.
Also does people here bought the TSU7000 recondition by phillips? I would like to buy one and the remotes reconditioned by phillips are a lot cheaper than the new ones but I'm not lucky with refurbished items.
Thanks in advanced.

The 7000 has no 802.11 capability. The iPronto has this and so does the new 9800i. I did not buy a refurb but I did buy a used 7000. The referb should be OK if the warranty is for a reasonable period of time.

7000 does not support wireless networking besides IR.
Nothing wrong with refurb units if they come with at least a 90-day warranty.

Sounds like whomever wrote that cookie-cutter catalogue text doesn't know what they're doing. :-)
Do a Google search for PHIRFX6000 and 802.11B and you'll find 25 hits using the same bad description.
