learning from harmony 680?

i havent been able to find the discrete codes for my tv anywhere but i recently got a harmony 680 which seems to have the discrete codes. but when i try to teach them to my tsu7000 from the harmony, it always fails? why cant the pronto learn from the harmony 680?

Are you trying to teach it one of the Harmony's activity macros?

Also, the Harmony remotes remember the state of a device, on or off, so don't be too sure it is really a discrete code. What model of TV is it you are looking to control?
