I recently upgraded some of my HT system. The suite is:
RCA F38310 TV
Dennon 1905 A/V Amp
Dennon 1910 DVD player
Standard v2 TiVo 80gb box
Comcast HD Cable Box

Everything reprogrammed into my 3000 and everything works EXCEPT the menu nav (up,down, right, left) for my cable box - which worked fine in the past using Cable-Motorola-0303 from the universal DB. All other cable box commands work fine, either using the Universal DB or learned. Nothing, learned, copied from my old pcf, or Universal DB will get the nav buttons working. As part of my effort I uploaded the most recent Phillips s/w and I wonder if that's causing a problem?

I cannot identify the cable box from the box or the system commands as anything other than "DCT" which is not terribly helpful.

Any suggestions?

I just purchased the ProtoPro and have the Comcast 6412. Could you e-mail your pcf.

That would really be appreciated. The contro of the 6412 is central to our enjoying getting rid of another remote. I have 10 setting beside the couch.

Jack,

I also have a .pcf posted in the file download area. I believe it offers full 6412 functionality (at least everything I have needed) with a pretty simple interface. I have also added both long and short skip and replay which really helps avoid commercials. You might want to do some idea shopping there.

Jack, My config is for a 3000. If you have the pro model you should definately check out bruce's config. It's great, easy to use and very functional. He also made all the bitmaps himself. WOW@ impressive. Anyway, i'll send you mine so you can check it out too.
