Hi,

I am having a problem "uploading to remote" from ProntoEditNG 2.1.1 (using a RU950). I like to do this in order to save my timers, otherwise I have to set them everytime I download a new PCF file.

The uploading seems to go fine (but very slow, I think about 5 to 10 times slower then a download of the same file), and when the progress bar is full the remote resets and thats it. The windows which says "Uploading" stays and the application hangs. I need to kill it from the task manager.

I use Windows XP Pro SP2. I don't know if it is a problem with this version of ProntoEdit because I never tried before with another version.

Yes I do. I also tried another computer (running Windows XP SP2 also) with the same results.

Is this function working for anyone?

This happened to me - nothing would get it to work until someone suggested I re-install the firmware. Give it a try.

I will try reflashing the latest firmware as soon as I get home tonight. I'll let you know the results.

Thanks!

Unfortunately that didn't solve the problem.

Does anyone else has an idea on how to solve this?

Just downloaded a very small PCF file to the remote and tried to upload again. That worked fine. Then I merged my own PCF into that test PCF, downloaded again but was again unable to upload. It seems there is something in my config file that makes it impossible to upload.

Anyone? Or should I just sent my PCF to Philips and let them figure it out?

The PCF is 396 KB. There is 65% free on the Pronto.
