I am making a macro that is suppost to turn on a few other devices along with a JVC rx-8040 receiver and change the input of the receiver. When I push the hard key to start the macro it does everything up turn on the jvc and change the input. I have confirmed that the codes work and it seems to me that the codes just won't work in a macro with other things being sent. I have tried putting the jvc codes in different places and tried changing the delay (I tried up to 20 sec) and had no luck with it working. If anyone knows something that might help please let me know.

Does your macro include the IR codes directly for each device to be controlled, or does each action in that macro link to another button containing the IR code (did you use "create link" or "add IR code")

macro it does everything up turn on the jvc and change the input

You say you changed the order of actions. Is it always at the JVC step that the macro appears to stop working, or do subsequent things get executed afterwards in the macro?

Which doesn't work: turn on JVC, or set input?

How did you validate that "each code works"?

You may need to adjust the duration of some of the commands.

I figured it out. The code that I was using was just too long to I found the codes that I needed in the Universal Database. Thanks anyway.
